Privacy Notice

In reference to article 10 of Italian law no. 675/96 related to the safeguarding of confidentiality in the use of personal information, we would like to advise you herein that:

* all personal information that you provide to, or that is otherwise acquired by Lo Zoo di Simona during the course of our business activities transacted electronically over the internet or otherwise, shall be treated in conformity with the above-mentioned law for the institutional purposes of our company, and in particular for:
* the carrying out of a service or operation (s) contractually agreed upon;
* executing obligations foreseen by the laws and regulations;
* protecting the rights of Lo Zoo di Simona at its registered office; the conferring of your personal information to Lo Zoo di Simona shall be used solely for the execution of a contractual agreement; in relation to the use of personal information by Lo Zoo di Simona, you shall be able to exercise the rights set forth in article 13 of Italian law no. 675/96;
* your personal information shall be kept at our offices in Terni (Italy) at Via Borsi for the period stipulated under the law;
* the personal information that you provide us, or that is otherwise acquired during the course of our business activities, may also be used by persons recognized as having the authority to access your personal information in accordance with law enforcement, and/or European Union or subordinate regulations.


Art. 13 Italian law no.675/96
Rights of the person concerned:

1. In relation to the use of personal information, the person concerned has the right
a) to know, via free access to the register, that which is written in article 31, paragraph 1, letter a) that refers to the use of personal information that may concern him/her;
b) to be informed as to article 7, paragraph 4, letters a) b) and h);
c) to obtain, from the owner or person in charge, without delay:
1. confirmation of existing personal information, if any, that concerns him/her; even if not yet registered, and the correspondence is intelligible with the same information and origin, as well as the criteria and purpose on which the use is based; request for such may be renewed, except for justified reasons, within a period of not less than ninety days;
2. cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or the blocking of information used in violation of the law, comprising any information that does not need to be kept relating to the purposes for which the information was gathered or subsequently used;
3. any updating, changes and corrections, or, if deemed necessary, any additional information.
4. attestation that the operations of numbers 2) and 3) were made known, even as far as their content was concerned, to the person to whom the information was communicated or diffused, except in the event when it is impossible to reveal such execution or involves an employment of resources manifestly disproportionate to the right of the person safeguarded;
d) to oppose, in all or in part, for legitimate reasons, the use of personal information that concerns him/her, even if pertinent to the purpose of collecting it.
e) to oppose, in all or in part, the use of personal information that concerns him/her anticipated and targeted at informing business, sending advertising material, direct sales, carrying out market research or interactive business communication; to be informed by the owner, no later than the moment when the information is communicated or diffused, of the possibility to freely exercise such right without charge.

2. For every request for that which is set out in paragraph 1, letter c), number 1), the person concerned may be asked, even when confirmation results in no existing information that concerns him/her, to pay a charge that is no higher than the effective costs, according to the conditions and within the limits stipulated by the regulations in article 33, paragraph 3.

3. The rights in paragraph 1) referring to personal information concerning deceased persons may be exercised by whomever it may concern.

4. In exercising the rights in paragraph 1), the party concerned shall confer, in writing, delegate or procure physically in person or by association.

5. Legal requirements remain firm on the professional secret of journalists, pertaining to news sources.
